Best Chapter Books for Nature Study

How is your winter homeschooling going?

Are you feeling overwhelmed or having fun?

For ultimate connection and joy, we recommend simplifying as much as possible so that each task you do with your children can be done with peace. In our Peaceful Loop group, we made a few intentions for the New Year, listing our top three things to accomplish each day. This might be a good practice for you as well so that you can end each day feeling like your essentials were accomplished.

My own personal essentials are: 1. Quiet time with Jesus. 2. A walk or exercise. 3. Make my bed.

My essentials with my homeschool are: 1. Music practice 2. Reading 3. Some math or writing.

If you know your essentials for each day it can help you create a sustainable rhythm that helps you enjoy your homeschool.

Our new Chore and Routine Pack can help you with this. Click the title to grab yours.

I'm currently working on Volume 2 for The Kind Kingdom, and an art, chapter book, and composer supplement for Nourishing Nature Kindergarten. I've got a working list of chapter books to correspond with the 8 units below, but I'd love any suggestions for chapter books, art, or composers that are favorites in your home.

Nourishing Nature Kindergarten is a wonderful resource for developing strong motor and processing skills so that the capability is developed in your child for copywork, narration, and observation, core components of a living education.
