WHAT GRADE IS THE PLAYFUL PIONEERS AND THE PRECIOUS PEOPLE GEARED TOWARDS?
The Playful Pioneers is written for early elementary students, approximately grades K-4. However, it is easily adaptable to older elementary students as well. Because math and phonics instruction are not included, you can tailor those subjects to your various students and use The Playful Pioneers as a curriculum for several grades at once. It is perfect for family centered learning. The Precious People may be used by students in grades K-4 as well. With either curriculum and an older elementary student, you can adapt by adding an extra grammar or writing resource, and letting them choose books from the independent reading list to write a weekly paper on. Middle grade students can be involved in the projects, cooking, art and literature portions, but given their own science and literature based history program to work through.
