THE PARENT GUIDE
The Precious People parent guide is your go to for giving your 5-12 year old students a gentle, holistic education. The guide will lead you through daily readings designed to introduce your child to ancient history through the early middle ages, as well as jumping into studies of non-western cultures through engaging literature and projects. As your child learns about new people and places through books and projects, they will gain a greater understanding of the foundations of western culture and literature, and greater compassion for people around the world. The parent guide includes Bible, map work, nature study, poetry, narration, copy work, Aesop’s Fables, science experiments, art, practical life skills and much more.

THE STUDENT SHEETS-PRINT OR CURSIVE
The students sheets include poetry selections, Bible verses, hand drawn illustrations, and copy work in both print and cursive. These sheets will help your child with beginning composition and grammar, form drawing, handwriting, and vocabulary skills as they trace or copy their page.

THE PRECIOUS PEOPLE RECIPES
The Precious People Recipes includes recipes to correspond with the weekly readings. You will expand the skills you learned in The Playful Pioneers and The Peaceful Preschool to give your child a taste for what people from ancient history and other cultures ate.

THE PRECIOUS PEOPLE ART

The art file includes paintings, information, and discussion prompts to coincide with the weekly lessons in the parent guide.

THE PRECIOUS PEOPLE READINGS

In the readings file, you will find the poetry, quotes, and scripture readings for each week, along with the book lists, including an extensive list of chapter books and resources for older students.
